This popular and extremely active local club invites players of all abilities. Juniors from 6.30pm; Seniors 7.30pm. Inter-club matches, coaching and a major annual congress are arranged.

Norton Community Archaeological Group

The Norton Community Archaeology Group (NCAG) was established in early 2007 to further the local knowledge of the village and surrounding area through practical ‘hands-on’ historical research and archaeological excavations.

Plinston frequently hosts NCAG meetings and talks on relevant topics and subject areas.

Perfect Step Dance Studio

This renowned dance school is resident at Plinston, offering expert tuition in a range of disciplines across a wide age range, under the personal supervision of Principal Wanda Kinnar and her staff.

Plinston Players

Plinston Players image

Plinston Players is a self-funding drama club for young people over eight, staffed by volunteers, now in its 14th year (2009). Their aim is to give young people the chance to experience all aspects of the performing arts, primarily through participation in stage productions but also through workshops and visiting specialists.

Putting on one major musical show each year, written in-house to give each young person a suitable character and lines, giving them to take an active part in the show. All the Players work hard, particularly during rehearsals and productions, with encouragement to work as a team; to make new friends; to gain confidence and to enjoy themselves.

They meet most Saturdays, during term time, from 3pm to 5pm.

This informal group meets most Mondays from 9.45am until 11.30am in the Club Rooms and welcomes babies and toddlers up to five years with their mums, dads, grandparents or carers.

Space to explore and toys galore for your little ones plus topical discussions and practical advice on those vital early years.

£1.25 per mum including tea, coffee and biscuits. Additional adult / child 25p.

This OFSTED-inspected playscheme for five to twelves is a firm favourite in North Hertfordshire, offering structured play with the emphasis on fun, variety and educational content.

Three sessions daily during school holiday dates from 10am to 3.30pm - with early starts (from 8.45am); or late finishes (until 5.15pm) available too.
