I’ve enjoyed working in the leisure field for some 37 years now, having begun my career, briefly, as a Professional Footballer with my home town team Middlesbrough Football Club.

Away from work my interests include gardening, writing poetry, portrait drawing plus spending time with my partner Sam and our young daughter Isobel.

I joined Plinston as a member of the Box Office and Reception team in September 2003 following employment as a Business Travel Consultant, Sales Administrator for a Swiss Cable Company and Membership Administrator for FIRA.

I am happily married to Lee, have a daughter Jessica and Golden Labrador, Quaver. Whenever possible, I love spending time with my family and friends, walking with Quaver, football, Formula 1 and 70s & 80s ‘Club Classic’ music.

Following training at Letchworth Garden City College, I lived in Norway for a whole year working as a chef. Since my return, I worked at the Hitchin Priory, as Conference & Banqueting Manager, for total of six years, before joining the Plinston team during 2000.

Outside of work, I have a young son that I love spending as much time as I can with.

I came to Plinston in July 2007 from the Royal Air Force Wyton where I worked as The Deputy Mess Manager for the Senior NCO’s Mess. When I first arrived here, I was assistant Food and Beverage Manager and have since taken up the role of Bars Manager.
